After completing the requirements on the white belt level 1, We are now entering the white belt level 2 program. The white belt level 1 is more in familiarizing the steps in basic drills such as footwork, stick exercises, maneuvering the sticks, single stick drills, double stick drills, learning the basic combinations, 12 angles of attacks and the defense techniques, 1 counterattack and two counter attacks. Basically, the white belt level 1 is very important as it will enlighten us in the future arguments.
Our aim is to understand and be able to perform to polish our skills as we set our goals, and that we could maneuver and deliver the strikes in the highest speed and its efficiency without interruption and cannot nor be stopped by our opponent in a close quarter distance or Dikit (Dikit is Cebuano term meaning in close quarter distance).
In this program the number of exercises and drills are increasingly high as compared to the previous white belt level 1 as we would like you to be skillful and more knowledgeable even though we are still in the white belt rank.
On this white belt level 2 program, I separated the drills for single stick and the drills for double stick to avoid misunderstanding, confusion, and lack of order.
