DOS ARMAS VIRTUAL ZOOM CLASS SEASON 2
1) March 20 & 21 –Quadrant drills Set-A
-Quadrant drills Set- A is a pre set drills which has two strikes on every attacks for the right hand and left hand. This Drills is very important in Dos Armas because it is the beginning of teaching the left hand and right hand to develop their perfect coordination.
2) March 27 & 28 – Open Arms position Pengke- Pengke or Sinawali with 4 Strikes, 5 Strikes and 6 Strikes Set-A.
-Sinawali or Pengke-Pengke Drills has a lot of variatons and functions, For every sets it has a different combinations. On this drills it will prepare our left hand and right hand to achieved a certain goal to develop stability and the power of the strikes.
3) April 3 & 4- Trangka or locking Defense techniques of angle 1, angle 2, angle 3 and angle 12 Set-A .
– On this techniques you will learn how to defend yourself using your two sticks against an olisi or Stick attack. The differences of this techniques from the first lesson we have Dos Armas Defense techniques is that the first defense techniques only one or single stick is engaged to defend or block against an Olisi Attack, while on the Trangka techniques its involved the two sticks to execute the defense techniques.
4) April 10 & 11- Quadrant drills Set-B
– Quadrant drills Set- B is a pre set drills where the opponent or the training partner is allowed to do a counter attack.
5) April 17 & 18 – Open Arms position Pengke- Pengke or Sinawali with 7 Strikes, 8 Strikes and 9 Strikes Set-A.
– This is the continuation of the Sinawali or Pengke-Pengke Drills but on this drills the Ideas and proper low striking were introduced.
6) April 24 & 25- Trangka or locking Defense techniques of angle 1, angle 2, angle 3 and angle 12 Set-B.
– Trangka defense techniques Set-B is the continuation of the Trangka Defense techniques Set-A as we only be careful about the technical changes and execution of the techniques to avoid confusion in the future progressions of the Dos Armas Defense techniques.
7) May 1 & 2- Open Arms position Pengke- Pengke or Sinawali with 10 Strikes, 11 Strikes and 12 Strikes Set-A.
– 12 strikes is the last combinations of our Set-A Sinawali or Pengke-Pengke, This Sinawali will really stimulate your brain as it is like a mind blowing because of the number of strikes is getting higher until 12 counts. But this is really helpful for the persons having difficulties in coordination . Because Sinawali or Pengke –Pengke uses two hands the left hand and the right hand It will help you to develop your smartness ,alertness, quick response and decission making.
8) May 8 & 9 –Quadrant drills Set- C
– The Quadrant drills Set-C is a pre set drills which preparing the two hands to perform and cooperate to each other. This drills is also important as involvement of the left hand is necessary, the Objective of the drills is to engage also the left hand as we know that our rigth hand or the dominant hand would like to do the work most. Our intentions are to make the left hand and right hand work together to have a balance
9) May 15 & 16 – Attack and defense drill Set-B of Angle 1,2,3 and 12
– here is the another sets of attack and defense drills from the first Dos Armas virtual zoom class. This drills helps to be oriented which hands is going to used for attack or defense.
10) May 22 & 23- Question and answer portion. Review the whole courses from the very beginning of season Dos Armas virtual Zoom class season 2.
