In May 2022, when I have a chronic pain on my lower abdomen, I went to see a doctor and he requested for a CT scan on my lower abdomen. The CT scan was rendered August 25, 2022 a bit late from the date it was requested by the doctor due to lack of financial capability.
The CT scan found that there is an irregular heterogeneously enhancing circumferential mass in the cecum measuring approximately 7.1 x 9.5 x 5.0 cm extending to the terminal ileum and base of the appendix. It also infiltrated the right superior wall of the urinary bladder with thickening of the walls. A colonoscopy was performed and gave the same findings. The doctor’s suggestions were to undergo major operation for the removal of tumor as it is expected a 3rd stage advance cancer.
Because of this reason I needed to secure the right amount of money for my hospitalization. I sought help from the international Martial arts community to fund my hospitalization and the response was overwhelming. They immediately sent donations, prayers and thoughts.
The operation was performed September 21, 2023 and some complications came up; sepsis kicked in that almost claimed my life. Two major operations were done, and I managed to get through all of these. We got discharged from the hospital October 8, 2023 and straight went to a chemotherapy treatment 6 weeks after.
